Dear Autauga County Organization,

We would like to thank YOU for the work you do in Autauga County!  The Prattville Service League is currently looking for organizations to support, either financially or with “hands on” volunteers during the fiscal year 2012.

The League is a non-profit service organization, volunteering approximately 2500 hours of service each year to the Prattville and Autauga County area. We have also donated over $19,000 this past year to groups such as the Autauga County School system, Prattville Library, Prattville YMCA, Boys and Girls Scouts and many more.

You are probably familiar with our fundraising projects such as the Annual Labor Day BBQ and the Annual Golf Tournament at the Prattville Country Club. The funds we raise at these events are returned to our community through donations to organizations like yours. However, when we are not raising money we also like to keep our hands busy by jumping in where we are needed as volunteers. So, please take a moment to think about how we can best help your organization and let us hear from you!

GRANT RECIPIENTS:

This money will be disposed from funds raised through our fundraisers to various recipients.

Note:  Grant funds must be used in Autauga County.

If you receive a grant, you must supply documentation describing how your grant was used in order to be considered again the following year.

SERVICE HOURS RECIPIENTS:

This will be “hands on” volunteer project to help you through the fiscal year 2012.  Projects must benefit Autauga County.

Enclosed you will find the necessary applications if you are interested in becoming a beneficiary of Prattville Service League.  All applications must be received by September 30, 2011 to the PSL post office box address in order to be considered.  Beneficiaries should be notified by February 1, 2012.  If you have any questions please send those to the following email address:  jasupowell@bellsouth.net and put PSL Grants in the subject line.
